HOLLEY Arrested on ALERT Warrants



Grande Prairie, Alberta – James HOLLEY, 37 years old of Grande Prairie was arrested by the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment’s Target Team in the City on Saturday February 4th after 8:15 p.m. during a traffic stop.  

HOLLEY was wanted in connection with a Grande Prairie ALERT, Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) investigation stemming from December 2nd, 2011.  On that date, police executed 5 search warrants in regard to a “Chop Shop”, stolen property and meth trafficking (media release attached for reference).  HOLLEY is facing charges of:

Possession of Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order, Possession of  Stolen Property, and Tampering with a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

HOLLEY has been remanded in custody and his next court appearance is scheduled in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on February 13, 2012.

The Target Team is comprised of RCMP Detachment constables dedicated to addressing criminal trends and prolific offenders.
