Two Brooks Residents and One Calgary Resident Charged With Trafficking Drugs Following Vehicle Check



Medicine Hat, Alberta – Medicine Hat. ALERT’s Medicine Hat Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit(CFSEU), an integrated team of Medicine Hat Police Service and RCMP members, concluded a drug trafficking investigation on February 3, 2012 with the arrest of three individuals. During the investigation, CFSEU-Medicine Hat intercepted and checked a  vehicle and its occupants on Highway Avenue SE in Redcliff, AB. Following a search of the vehicle, investigators seized 31 grams of cocaine, worth an estimated street value of $6,200, along with $1,400 cash.

Arrested and charged are:

Calgary resident Gatwech TenyWang, age 27. Charged with: one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of proceeds of crime, one count of obstructing a police officer and one count of failing to comply with a probation order.

Brooks resident Mabiei Yuot, age 24. Charged with: one count of trafficking cocaine, one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of proceeds of crime and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

- Brooks resident Roxanne Belanger age 31. Charged with: one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The next court appearance for TenyWang and Yuot is February 7, 2012 and Belanger on February 21, 2012.
