Edmonton, Alberta – A minimum of five residential homes – including four houses in a row – were broken into yesterday, all in the Oliver area of 118 Street and 102 Avenue.
On Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., two suspects appeared to have knocked on the front door or rang the doorbell of each residence. If no one answered the door, the men allegedly forced entry by kicking in the front door.
Various small electronics and CD’s were stolen.
The suspects are described as:
1) Male, in his 50′s, 5’11″, bad teeth and health, gold ring on right hand, small face, skinny, wearing a black jacket and black ball cap;
2) Male in his late 20′s, 5’11″, black ball cap, medium build.
Police are warning Oliver residents and all home-owners to secure their homes and report any strangers or suspicious activity in the neighbourhood. “Do not open the door for anyone you do not know or trust, however, make them aware you will call police if they do not leave your property,” says Acting Sergeant Ryan Lawley.
