Medicine Hat, Alberta – On May 7, 2013 the Medicine Hat Police service concluded a large scale investigation into the fraudulent use of credit cards and identity theft recovering about $20,000 in fraudulently obtained property. The investigation, completed by both the priority street crimes unit and the patrol sections of the police service, led to 105 criminal code charges being filed against four people from Calgary.
