Fort McMurray, Alberta – The investigation into the suspicious death of Leslie Paul Laboucane that occurred in March in downtown Fort McMurray is progressing at a good pace but RCMP are still seeking tips from the general public. 2nd Female Charged in First Degree Murder of Lawrence Leung in Gleichen
Gleichen, Alberta – On Saturday, May 18th, 2013, at approximately 1:15 a.m., the Gleichen RCMP responded to a disturbance in a residence in Gleichen. When police arrived, they discovered two victims, an adult male and an adult female with stab wounds. The adult male, 26 year old Lawrence Leung from B.C., had sustained serious injuries. A STARS air ambulance was called to transport Mr. Leung to hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries prior to STARS arrival.
Update: Lloydminster Home Invasion
Lloydminster, AB / SK – The Lloydminster Municipal RCMP were dispatched to a home invasion in a neighborhood located in the south west side of the city. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning of February 28th, 2013. The investigation has revealed that this incident is linked to the drug trade in the City of Lloydminster.
RCMP Red Deer City Investigate – Suspect with Outstanding Warrants
Red Deer, Alberta – On May 23, 2013 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Red Deer RCMP entered into an investigation involving a suspect that has outstanding warrants. Further investigation revealed that the individual may have been in an apartment building on the 3400 block of 52nd Avenue in Red Deer.
Mischief and Theft to Vehicles
La Crete, Alberta – Fort Vermilion RCMP recently reported that sometime over the long weekend between Saturday May18th 2013, and Tuesday May 21st 2013 suspect(s)trespassed onto the property of Broken Toy Automotive in La Crete, Alberta through an unlocked gate and started a fire. Initially reported was a Maroon Ford F350 Truck received burn marks and damage to the front end and grill. RCMP Fort Vermilion have since received two further complaints of Mischief to Vehicles parked at Broken Toy Automotive over the weekend.
Firearm Complaint – Salisbury Composite High School in Sherwood Park
Sherwood Park, Alberta – Today at approximately 10:00 a.m Strathcona County RCMP responded to a firearms complaint at Salisbury Composite High School located in Sherwood Park. A male student was talking to another student outside of the school when he allegedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the student.

Homicide Charge Laid in 2012 Calgary Murder
Calgary, Alberta – The Calgary Police Service has charged one man in relation to a homicide that occurred last year. At approximately 9 p.m., on Friday, June 8, 2012, police were called to reports of a man being assaulted by two other men inside a silver Toyota 4Runner in the 1900 block of Southland Drive S.W. The horn of the vehicle was pressed several time during the assault.
